Blaze grills are one of the most popular brands of grills in the US. But how did this happen? Where did the name come from? And most importantly, how do their grills compare to the competition?

I’ll get to all that, but first, let’s take a look at the history of this popular brand.

Grilling with the Mannings: Blaze Grills

A Brief History

It all started in Baton Rouge, Louisiana when a military veteran named Michael Hackley opened a brick and mortar barbecue store called “The Grill Store & More”. The store was successful, but when the economy took a downturn, Hackley had to get creative. He decided to take his business online and hired a local kid named Corey Tisdale to help him with the website. With the launch of BBQGuys.com, Hackley’s business was a huge success.

Blaze Grills is Born

With the success of BBQGuys.com, Hackley was able to pursue his passion for innovation and invention. In 2012, he launched Blaze Outdoor Products and started engineering and manufacturing his own line of grills and smokers. The Blaze Kamado grill quickly became one of the brand’s best sellers, and in 2019 Hackley was granted a patent for his cast-aluminum design.

The Mannings Join the Team

In 2020, Blaze Grills and BBQGuys.com were acquired by private equity firm Brand Velocity Partners. To promote the benefits of Blaze Grills, the team produced a series of YouTube videos featuring the Mannings – NFL greats Archie, Peyton, and Eli Manning, as well as brother Cooper. The Mannings are not only official marketing goofballs, but also investors in BBQGuys.com.

What Do Blaze Grill Owners Have to Say?

Kamado Grills Get High Praise

Blaze grills have been getting a lot of love from their owners, especially the Kamado model. Here are some of the best reviews we’ve seen:

– “This is the best charcoal grill on the market, and it’ll probably outlive me!”

– “This is the best grill I’ve ever used, no contest.”

Not Everyone’s Experience is the Same

Not every Blaze grill owner has had the same experience. We’ve heard a few complaints about ignition and wind issues with some of the gas models. Plus, there have been a few reports of assembly-related problems.

But overall, most Blaze grill owners seem pretty pleased with their purchase.

Differences

Blaze Vs Kamado

Blaze vs Kamado – which is the better grill? It’s a tough call, as both have their advantages. Blaze grills are made from stainless steel, which makes them durable and resistant to corrosion. They also come with a wide range of features, such as a temperature gauge and a rotisserie. Kamado grills, on the other hand, are made from ceramic and are known for their excellent heat retention. They also have a unique design that allows for indirect cooking.

When it comes to Blaze vs Kamado, it’s a tough call. Blaze grills are made of stainless steel, so they’re tough and won’t corrode. Plus, they come with a bunch of features like a thermometer and rotisserie. Kamado grills, though, are made of ceramic and have amazing heat retention. Plus, they have a unique design that lets you cook indirectly. So, if you’re looking for a grill that’ll last, go with Blaze. But if you want something that’ll keep your food hot, go with Kamado. Either way, you can’t go wrong!

Blaze Vs Big Green Egg

When it comes to grilling, there’s no shortage of options. But when it comes to choosing between Blaze and Big Green Egg, there’s no doubt that both have their pros and cons.

When it comes to Blaze, it’s all about convenience. It’s easy to set up and use, and it’s portable enough to take with you on the go. Plus, it’s relatively affordable. On the other hand, Big Green Egg is a bit pricier, but it’s also more durable and offers more control over the heat.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to get your grilling fix, Blaze is the way to go. But if you’re looking for something that’s more reliable and offers more control, Big Green Egg is the way to go. So if you’re trying to decide between the two, it really comes down to what you’re looking for in a grill.

If you’re after convenience and affordability, Blaze is the way to go. It’s easy to set up and use, and it’s portable enough to take with you on the go. Plus, it won’t break the bank.
